Well lets get started with a few screen shots

United 757-200 in a proposed merger livery that I made Cruising over the Ocean out of Seattle.

Next is a Fictional Airline DC-9-50 that I created as well. It is cruising out of AKL.

And Finally a United Blue 757-200 climbing out of ORD

Sorry about the low Res, I had to cut it down to upload them.

Thank you! I was meant to start this thread at the beginning of the month but been occupied with other stuff.

Hmm... nice, but how about... the CO livery and the UA Tail? (with adjusted colors of course)

Sweet! I had a bit of fun in a real EI 320 a couple of weeks ago DUB-BCN

Here's some from me, I am currently doing this flight so I will post some more as it progresses.

LX 8104/ LX8105 ZRH-RAK-ZRH op for Edelweiss. (hopefully no OOM or CTD's on the way back as it happenned last time I tried this flight, I think I have some issues near MAD, could be the scenery so I deactivated, and for good measure my inbound route will be similar to the outbound (ZRH-GVA-France-BCN-VLC-Almeria-Fes-RAK)

Juliet-Whiskey will be our chariot today   here she is sitting pretty next to her lil' bro from Spain and a distant cousin from France.

PAX view, the rear cargo hold still open, no worries dude, your bag will be loaded (maybe)
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y243/A330Driver/RAK2-1.jpg

Climbing out of chilli ZRH, RAK should be a bit warmer at 16c
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y243/A330Driver/RAK4-1.jpg

Another PAX took this one as we flew near GVA, weird that only the airport is snowed in...

Welcome to the 4th 2011 FS/X-Plane Screen Shot Thread . The previous one can be found here

I was going to suggest a new one. The other one was impossible to read on my iPhone on the train in the morning.

I flew from Sydney to Perth with Qantas B747-438 VH-OJU, with a RIVET arrival into YSSY RWY34L. Flew at M0.86 the whole way and levelled off at FL410.   The wonders of powerful B747-400 aircraft on domestic flights. This will soon be real, too! Qantas is putting B747-438 on the SYD-PER and PER-SYD routes to combat Virgin Australia's A330 aircraft, the first of which is VH-XFA. The B747 has the full international configuration too. QF certainly knows how to be a tough competitor.

Anyhow, this is descending over an area south-west of Sydney, probably around the Campbelltown/Camden sort of region:

Sydney Airport visible in the distance, doing the turn to head down towards Helensburgh/Thirroul area:
http://www.totalnfs.net/c_d_files/2011-3-5_23-42-45-286.jpg

Amazing:
http://www.totalnfs.net/c_d_files/2011-3-5_23-44-15-677.jpg

On final approach for RWY34L:
http://www.totalnfs.net/c_d_files/2011-3-5_23-49-19-723.jpg

The plane cleared for takeoff ahead of me sat there for ages and I thought I was going to need to go-around, but not so. I dropped the approach speed to 145kts, just to make certain.

Looks great!

This was my longest flight in a long time, the plan was inspired the other day when I saw on Flightaware.com a flight flown the other way, SXM-PWK in a Falcon 2000. Today I am flying PWK-SXM in a Falcon 2000 from Mike Stone so that I can escape the cold and snow in Chicago. PWK is a special airport for me, that was where I took my first two, and up until now, my only flight lessons. I also work about 5 miles from there and in the warmer temps, I spend a couple hours after work at a spotting area to watch the traffic come and go. Most traffic is GA and bizjets, but from time to time there are some small cargo haulers in C208s and Lears that come and go. A couple of years ago PWK was also the airport where Bombardier flew in a Q400 for review by UA. I was dissappointed when they didn't order it, but am happy now that they got it with their merger with CO.

Everbody out, head out for dinner and fun on the island!

The Mike Stone Falcon 2000 was a fun plane to fly, I am keeping it in my hangar and have already added a panel for it. I did find a FDE update for it, hopefully it corrects some of the handling issues, I had to go around not once, not twice but three times at SXM because I could not get lined up with Rwy 27 due to the poor turning of it in the air. I am also going to give a go at redoing PWK as there were taxi signs all over the place and stuff that was there that should not be there.

Hey, cut that out! Big grin Nice screenshots of the B747.  Smile Sadly, we don't see NZ B744s much, if at all anymore. It's mainly a diet of A320 and B767-300s with winglets, and the occasional B777-200/ER.

I have Ultimate Traffic installed...there were two NZ ATR's on the other side of the airport, but that's it. As you can see, there was more activity at YSSY.

I also have the PMDG 747-400 in QF livery. I'll just have to find some fabulous freeware scenery to fly "from". Other than YSSY and NZCH, all I have on that side of the world is flyTampa's Kai-Tek scenery...

You should try the "Kai-Tak" style landing on 27 (now rwy 28) from left base leg. You can use the VOR to position yourself for this approach, and fly between the 722' hazard beacon & the 393' hazard beacon, depicted on this Jeppesen chart. I find this easier than doing the straight-down approach from the mountain and risking a high-speed landing.

It was a Dreamwings aircraft, freeware, but I got rid it of it cos I tired 3 diff panels & I couldn't use the radios

I think the F50 looks like a boat.

Hey there, today I flew on Vatsim as N95JZ ( flew private but in Great Lakes livery) KSFO to KTVL using B1900D PMDG awesome aircraft. In my opinion guys from PMDG are doing an unbelievable job providing us with a high quality aircraft and for that I would like to say "Thank you" to them!

First pic is from my last week's journey KSEA to KSFO in A320 Virgin America which I forgot to post in my last report.
Here we are somewhere over Oregon

Now here we are leaving KSFO. In background you can see some fellow Vat simmers on ground in San Fran.

Not like those Lankmark 747's   Because no one uses the default aircraft anymore.

Hello my friends!
After spending a night in Lake Tahoe, it was time for me to get out of there and head out to KMRY - Monterey Bay,California.
I arrived at the airport early so we could get out and experience beautiful sunrise over the Lake Tahoe.
Here we just got into our seat and we are ready for our start up checklist
http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s132/Tanguay18/Flight%20Simming/GettinginseatTahoe.jpg
We are ready to start our "props"
http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s132/Tanguay18/Flight%20Simming/StartingenginesTahoe.jpg
After short taxiing to rwy 36, off we went
http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s132/Tanguay18/Flight%20Simming/Offwegotahoe.jpg
Gear up, flaps up and we are on climb to 9000ft direct SHOLE where we will climb in holding pattern to 13000ft before heading direct SPOOK and as filed. Here is our flight plan for today : SHOLE1.SHOLE SPOOK BSR.PEBB1 rwy 10R arrival in KMRY.
http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s132/Tanguay18/Flight%20Simming/ShortlyafterTOTahoe.jpg
Here we are climbing over the Lake Tahoe, what a beauty!
http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s132/Tanguay18/Flight%20Simming/ClimboverTahoe.jpg
Leaving behind gorgeous scenery!

My trusty B1900D Up close and Personal

We are descending and approaching our entry fix for PEBB1 arrival, BSR Vor
http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s132/Tanguay18/Flight%20Simming/AproachingBSRVor.jpg
Here we are on downwind for rwy 10R in Monterey, we will be arriving shortly!
http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s132/Tanguay18/Flight%20Simming/FinalapproachMonterey.jpg
After arrival we got an offer to ferry another B1900D in freshly repainted United livery to KOAK, Oakland,CA
This will be short VFR flight at 8000ft.
http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s132/Tanguay18/Flight%20Simming/FerrytoOAK.jpg
Here we are pulling up to our stand in KOAK
http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s132/Tanguay18/Flight%20Simming/OaklandGA.jpg
After short 40 min, we were down in OAK and I was left by myself to secure the aircraft and hand the "keys" to representative of United Airlines http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s132/Tanguay18/Flight%20Simming/allpaxgone.jpg
We will be leaving Oakland soon, just I never know what aircraft and where we will be flying next!

Enjoy!

Excellent shot my friend!

So good, I took inspiration and decided to attempt to recreate at SEA with a 763!

A little editing in Photoshop to add exhaust blur etc.

Mountains and the city of Vancouver. In the end, we ended up "losing" an engine and diverting to PDX. There was a terrible headwind, so in 45 minutes we were just passing Seattle (maybe I'm exaggerating, but it was really pissing me off).

I'm feeling in a rotorcraft type of mood, so we're going to fly some! First, a short hop from LAX-SLI in an MD-500E, and then SLI-SAN in a V-22 Osprey...

Well here we are in parking (definitely not where helos go, but oh well)
http://i719.photobucket.com/albums/ww199/xxdarkknight/fs92011-03-1600-30-30-97.jpg

Up we go
http://i719.photobucket.com/albums/ww199/xxdarkknight/fs92011-03-1600-35-19-68.jpg

Enroute - we'll stay at about 6000ft or so
http://i719.photobucket.com/albums/ww199/xxdarkknight/fs92011-03-1600-43-04-05.jpg

Off to your right is Long Beach
http://i719.photobucket.com/albums/ww199/xxdarkknight/fs92011-03-1600-46-19-29.jpg

Anyone see a helipad?
http://i719.photobucket.com/albums/ww199/xxdarkknight/fs92011-03-1600-52-09-14.jpg

There's one - we'll go there
http://i719.photobucket.com/albums/ww199/xxdarkknight/fs92011-03-1600-53-04-25.jpg

Actually landed on it the first time!
http://i719.photobucket.com/albums/ww199/xxdarkknight/fs92011-03-1600-54-23-77.jpg

Ok, switch to the V-22 and let's taxi to runway 22
http://i719.photobucket.com/albums/ww199/xxdarkknight/fs92011-03-1601-01-36-45.jpg

Seems like it only takes 10 feet to get off the ground
http://i719.photobucket.com/albums/ww199/xxdarkknight/fs92011-03-1601-03-35-71.jpg

This bird is just a little bit faster (300 kts IAS)
http://i719.photobucket.com/albums/ww199/xxdarkknight/fs92011-03-1601-15-49-29.jpg

And we're down
http://i719.photobucket.com/albums/ww199/xxdarkknight/fs92011-03-1601-26-32-35.jpg

Again, probably not where we belong but who cares

I can believe it. I sometimes like to do a couple runs up and down the UK (usually don't post screenies of them)...and just last night a normally 50 min journey took around 1h35.
My finger was hovering over that 'R' button...but I managed to hold off.
