Iphone/Ipad Spotting App

Wed Jul 06, 2011 9:56 am

Are there any apps that work like the old fashioned books, that you tick the regos off as you see them?

Was looking for something like that for my upcoming canada trip.

I asked the same question a few weeks ago and the consensus was that there was nothing like this available. If you do manage to find one please share the knowledge as I am looking for the same thing. I'm not really a reg spotter but it would be handy for the more interesting sightings.

I am not a reg spotter as such, but would find a fleet list handy, as I photograph aircraft, I can tick them off the list.

Planefinder works well with aircraft which are transmitting ADS-B data. Gives you the registration of each aircraft. Not sure if its what you were looking for!
