What a great model! This would be my new night light.
Will the "next generation" have movable flaps, rudder, etc.?!!

Awesome, that's what I call dedication
If you like this stuff, you should go to Hamburg. They have a whole model airport that's actually operating:

Here is my promise to all A.net folk.
If I ever win the powerball lottery I will fund a version to be built in the US and featured at a major aviation museum.

Wow....now that is creative!!! Nice to see someone customizing a model kit....and even nicer to see a post about building models here. Nothing wrong with video games and simulators, but building kits are alot of fun, plus you have something to be proud of and be able to display for years after. Suprised not more people are building models here.

Finding model kits to build for commercial aircraft (737's or A320's) are really hard to find.... Not every hobby shop carries them. You gotta really look for them.

@ AirframeAS....You can find 737 and A320 kits on Ebay. They are a dime a dozen there. I just found over sixty kits offered, some as low as $7.00!!!

No it isn't
I remember when the first model kit of the Starship "Enterprise" came out in 1966 it had illumination and flashing nav lights. It was totally bitchen!
