Name The Aircraft Quiz

Wed Sep 26, 2012 9:02 am

Hello all,

Here's a quiz I did on jetpunk. Give it a go and let me know if there are any issues with it, or any awkward questions. I know it's a bit easy, I'll do some more challenging ones later!

Well... I'd dispute the A320 as the "first FBW jet airliner". It may have been the first digital FBW airliner but Concorde preceded it with an analogue FBW system.

I agree   Then when it wouldn't accept Concorde I couldn't find the button to skip the question lol

Alright, will change that question! Or should I change the answer to Concorde? That'd make it a bit more challenging...

You don't have to skip it, if you put an answer that is correct for one of the questions it'll put the answer in to that Q, no matter which one you're "on"

If you type in "307," it does not register. You must type in "Boeing 307." If you type in "747,'' it enters right away.
This plane is built to withstand anything... except a bad pilot.

Thought I fixed that, I'll check it again. EDIT: That's been fixed, thanks for the heads-up.

The Concorde is not worlds first supersonic airliner, Tu-144 is. By first flight, 12/68 vs. 3/69, as well as EIS, 12/75 vs. 1/76.

Also the carrier version of the Su-27 is also known as Su-27K (for Korabelniy, loosely equivalent to Naval)

And one last thing, C-47 is not "the military variant", it is merely the "US Army designation(variant, if you will)". There is the Navy R4-D (hope I got this right), which is military, and the RAF Douglas Dakota, which is military as well.
