FS9 Texture

does anyone know how to install a texture of a plane to FS9? i can add planes with model,base,sonds etc but im not sure how to add one with just a texture .... does anyone know how to??

It's very easy. Just make sure there's a subfolder in the target aircraft directory, for example "texture.singapore"

Then go into your aircraft.cfg for that plane and add an entry:

[fltsim.1]
title=example
sim=example
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=singapore

Make sure the name of your texture subfolder is shown as above, and your new plane should show up fine.
If you need someone to blame / throw a rock in the air / you'll hit someone guilty

The easiest way to make sure the fltsim section isn't missing something vital, is copying a previously existing one and then changing the required details. Most of the sections are fairly obvious and there are only 3 sections that can "break" it:

sim= has to match the .air file in the aircraft folder you're installing to (no .air file needed at the end)
model= has to match a valid model folder (leave it blank if there's only a single model folder)
texture= has to match a valid texture folder.

Everything else can be customized to your own wish.
