Have you watched The Aviators and Flying Wild Alaska? Both of these are worth watching.

Take a look at Elliot Mason's Youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCw6dUq7kibSihBu_Zw4-lw

He has uploaded lots of similar programs.

I started watching Flying Wild Alaska recently. Very interesting if you're into those Discovery Channel-type shows.

Try, Flying Heavy Metal, hosted by Bruce Dickinson, Lead Singer of Iron Maiden, and a Commercial Pilot in his own right, all episodes (5 in all I think) uploaded to youtube.

Then there is the Discovery Series Ice Pilots featuring Buffalo Airways, only highlights from various episodes can be found on youtube at the moment.

Also try Airport Live, BBC2 broadcast live from Heathrow Airport a few weeks ago, 4 episodes uploaded onto youtube.

Also on youtube is Worlds Biggest Airliner - Part 1 Building the Airbus A380. 5 Parts in all I think.

On Discovery Channel "Airplane Repo".

There is another Discovery Program ""Dangerous Flights", which involves Ferry Pilots delivering second hand General Aviation aircraft, both Props and Jets, around the world to their new owners. Very good show, visiting obscure airports, great visuals as well.

National Geographic has numerous "Aircrash Investigations" episodes of course.

That should get the ball rolling. If I think of others I will add to the list.

I know there is/was a Danish series about CPH called CPH Lufthavnen:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2458896/combined
http://programmer.tv2.dk/articlenew....eportageserie-cph--lufthavnen.html

also available as Pay Per View but I don't know if it will work outside Denmark:

Travel Channel here in the U.S. has Airport 24/7 Miami. 30min episodes on its second season, I think there are about 10 episodes and I have seen some on youtube. A decent look at the operations at MIA especially US Customs and Immigration. A little dramatic but its not too bad.

Just found this on Youtube.

Discovery Channel, Mighty Planes. Each episode runs about 45minutes.

One episode features the A380. Another the C5 Galaxy. Then there's Mighty Planes, Skibirds, which features the C-130 Hercules. The final one showcases the Antonov 124.

Go to Youtube and type : Discovery Channel Mighty Planes A380.

The same for the rest, just substitute the plane you want to view.

Enjoy!

Just finished watching the Discovery Channel Mighty Planes C5M Super Galaxy. Very good documentary, shows insight into the uprgrading of the C5 Galaxy, including installing the new Glass Cockpit, installation of all complete new wiring, beefing up of the wing to handle the heavier, more powerful GE CF6 engines, a job that takes over 11 months.

Here are some more programs I found on Youtube :

National Geographics : Megafactories Learjet. 45 minutes long.

Boeing 787 Dreamliner. This 43 minute making of documentary, first aired on MNBC.

National Geographics Megafactories Euro Fighter. 45 minutes long.

Megastructures A380. (National Geographic Documentry) 55 minutes long.

All the above programs have been uploaded to Youtube.

Enjoy!

German TV has tons of great documentaris, many of which can be found on youtube as well as Pilots TV. There was also a show back in the 90s called "Abenteur Airport", its in German, pretty corny but awesome since it brings back the glory days of DUS with AA 767s, LH DC10s, SAA 747SPs and the old terminal before the fire.

As far as english shows go, Flying Wild Alaska and Dangerous Flights are really good, Ice Pilots has gotten about as lame as Ice Road Truckers. Airplane Repo is OK, but I seriously question the authenticity of it. I mean how does one get clearence to take off when they're taxiing towards the runway with security vehicles going after them?

For those in the U.K. I just discovered that Sky One, the Satellite and Cable Channel, is currently running a multi episode series "Inside RAF Brize Norton". Filmed in 2012, it goes behind the scenes of the day to day operations at the U.K.'s largest Military Base.

"Inside RAF Brize Norton" is Broadcast on Sky One, Saturday nights at 19.00pm.

Sorry, I dont know how long it has been running, or how many episodes have been broadcast so far.

I watched the complete season last night. It was very "odd" for being, being a former FA. It brought back a lot of memories of training. Not just the standard stuff, but the class size shrinking and drama! I noticed Pam passed away in 2005? What happened to her?

Cood one! -Just too bad that English subtitles are not available for a broader audience.

In your neighbouring country, NRK made a story from an airshow at SVG back in the summer of 2012, but this clip from a cockpit camera in a SAAB J 29 while performing a low-lewel show (watch the shadow on the ground), does not need any vocal comment -Just enjoy it.

Here's another nice one: "Vehicles of the cold war (era)" SAAB 37 Viggen
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQjAp7bTnUg

This one is related with the one above. It is the sibling show "Hemliga Svenska rum".
This particular episode is about the Swedish road base system. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EKUwNUmex0

Then there is this oldie from 1980: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PoQtnugT6A4

It is an informative movie from "Flygvapnets Filmdetalj" about the Viggen and the road base system.

Almost forgot: Fredens hav. Another documentary about the Swedish airforce.

Just watched part of a 5 Part aviation series on YouTube titled, the Age of Aerospace, presented/sponsored by Boeing. I could not find Part 1 or 3, but watched Part 2, 4 and 5.

Age of Aerospace Part 2 "Miracle Planes"

Age of Aerospace Part 4 "Old NASA"

Age of Aerospace "Part 5 "Dreamliner Documentary"

The Dreamliner documentary features interviews with engineers and management, including the Boeing CEO, including insights into the Battery issue on the B787. Duration about 50 minutes each part.

Saab have launched their own Youtube documentary series called True collaborations.

True collaborations is about 350 Brazilian professionals who have moved to Sweden, together with their families,
where they will learn how to build or fly the Saab Gripen E fighter jet. After two years, they will move back
to Brazil where they will, in their turn learn, learn others bout the Gripen fighter.
