Does Anybody Collecct Schabak/Schuco Models?

Sun Sep 08, 2013 5:24 pm

I have been collecting Schabak and Schuco Models for years, and they are hard to find here in the US. I usually buy mine in Germany or the Middle East. Does anybody else collect these, and if so, can you tell me a good place to buy them in the US?

Both Schabak and Schuco no longer make aircraft models. They haven't for many years now.
You can try "The Airplane Shop", www.airplaneshop.com

They still might have some in stock.

I never really got into diecast that much. I have 3 and they are all Schabak, but they are hopefully going to find a new home soon thanks to EBay.

I used to collect the 1:600 ones when I was young, including some hypothetical ones that never existed in real life, like a Continental A340-300. Are you looking for any in particular?

I too used to collect them before upgrading to 1:500 and later 1:400 and 1:200. I still have a few if you would be interested in buying them off of me. All they do is collect dust.
