DL F/A Shows Off Memorabilia Collection

Fri Sep 27, 2013 3:15 pm

Remember the male F/A with the sparkly tooth in the old DL safety video? His name is Perry de Vlugt, he is based in SLC, and he has a huge collection of DL memorabilia in his basement. The Salt Lake Tribune has an article with pictures of his collection. I thought that some board members might appreciate it:

De Vlugt thinks his collection is second only to the Delta Heritage Museum in Atlanta.

Cool article. Thanks for posting. He really has a great collection if you look at the photos. This same guy was also in the SLC destination video they posted for a few cities a while back.

Perry is a good friend of mine. It was an amazing collection to see "live." The collection is stunning.

That is freaking cool!!! I'd love to check out his collection! It reminds me of the KL Purser and his collection of female airline uniforms.

I've had the pleasure of visiting the "Utah Branch" of the "Delta Museum" in my friend Perry's basement. It is absolutely awesome. I'm glad that it is gaining more media attention. He also had a nice write up a few years back in Airways magazine.

Very impressive. Nice guy to. I met him at ATL in 2001 for the Delta L-1011 retirement party. Awesome day but sad at the same time.

^ Hi Dan

Same here, got to meet him back during the L10 retirement party. Great guy and we still keep in contact. Hopefully one day I'll see the widget shrine.
