Preferred Joystick For Simulation Use?

Fri Oct 11, 2013 3:10 pm

I have an old Saitek Aviator stick and I was planning on buying a new HOTAS one.

I have my eyes on Thrustmaster's Warthog but it seems a bit expensive. Is it worth it? Are there better alternatives with more bang for the buck out there?

I'm mostly using VRS Superbug for FSX and Falcon 4.0 BMS.

Thank you.

I guess the question is how serious are you? If you enjoy simming enough to justify a $400+ joystick, then yeah, the HOTAS is one of the best on the market.

I've used the one I have for years. Logitech something or other. Has never put a foot wrong. I've been playing more often recently so I may invest in something more expensive soon. I'll let you know.
