Amazing Video Of Huge RC A380!

Sat Dec 21, 2013 7:28 pm

One of my Facebook friends pointed out an amazing video of a huge RC Airbus A380 - this thing does amazing fly-bys and features control surfaces and retractable gear. I'd swear I was looking a video of the real thing!

This was probably filmed in Switzerland. The buildings and the landscape are quite telling.

I've found additional information:

- Thomas Bodmer is the aficionado who built that 388
- scale 1:15, 17.4 ft wingspan
- 0.32 gallons / minute fuel consumption, with a 2.64 gallon tank

Sadly, somehow I don't find joy in watching model airplanes. They are far too agile compared to the originals...

Nice one but they can keep their A380 model.

I want to have this. Notice the droop nose.
