X-Plane 9 Default Runways

Sun Dec 29, 2013 6:30 am

Hi everybody,

I meant to ask this question a few years back, but I did not ask it correctly. My question is: How do you change the default runways in X-Plane 9. The LAX default is 07L, but I would like to change it, so the 24s or 25s are used. Has anyone else encountered a similar issue?

Thank you,

The opinions I post are mine and not of any organization I am affiliated with.

I'm not sure you can change the default runway...when you are at LAX (or any other airport) you can select the runway of your choice under select airport. Also I highly recommend downloading this file that makes the runways that much better:
If its not built by Airbus it must not be good ;-)
