How Can I Reach HAs CEO?

Thu Feb 27, 2014 9:32 pm

I would want to send an email to Hawaiian Airlines CEO Mr. Mark Dunkerley but I can't seem to find anyway to reach him directly. If you guys could help me with how to reach Mr. Richard Anderson at the same time that would be great.

Write a letter, and send it via postage to HA's headquarters. If it survives a reading by the secretary/executive assistant, the president may read it. If it is truly worthwile, he might even instruct the said secretary or executive assistant to write a reply. You have to understand, most executives don't have the time to deal with that kind of thing directly...and I'm sure that emails coming into the company, especially to the president, are screened. And I'm also pretty sure that unless you know the president of the company directly, your chances of getting his email address are about nil

No way in hell HA's CEO would accept an email from a passenger

If that was the case, Delta, United, American, and USAirways' CEOs would receive about 1000 a day (mostly bad)

Like Jeff who publicly gives his email address out to everyone. Jeff.Smisek@United.com

This was just the first result on google:

Plenty of executives do this, but you'll find in most cases they don't read the email directly. They have special customer service teams that handle these emails.

I saw an interview with him once. He indicated that he did indeed check his own email and that he forwarded the vast majority to CR.

He also said that he tries to respond to all employees within 24 hours, which I thought was interesting....

To the OP: you can try finding out what HA's email naming convention--many companies is first.last@something.com, for example--and sending one to the CEO.

Man??
I don't know who you're talking about because Smisek takes Emails And Phone calls. And the Hell he raises is Legendary!
Especially IF in fact United's fault. Some passengers complain about absolutely nothing.
I've taken airplanes out of service to fix a passenger's complaint, and more than ONCE too!!

It's a pretty easy function in outlook to give privileges to others to review external emails.

I think I found them:
mark.dunkerley@hawaiianair.com
Richard.anderson@delta.com
Well I'll try and send them an email and see what I get as an answer...and I never flew HA so I'm not a passenger, more of a fan.

Either you're a Troll (which is bad enough) or you seriously create a thread on A*Net asking for some CEO's personal e-mail address to ask for safety cards.... Should the second part be true, i honestly hope you'll either be banned or at least receive some kind of warning.

I am not even starting to talk about other things like how to use google, how to make your brain work, why the f&%$ would you do this for a safety card, are you bored/stupid, do you think a CEO is your personal gift-clown and doesn't have important things to do like running a multi-million dollar company, do you still believe in santa, did you ever visit a school etc...

I just really hope you wanted to pull some kind of joke here and didn't figure out that it's stupid and you should be ashamed of yourself.

Man I have read some REAL stupid things around here, but contacting the CEO of a large corporation for a safety card has to take the absolute cake.

Are we being trolled????

If so, bravo

It would be much more effective to send a letter addressed to airline's Community Relations Department to try and get what you would want. I have twice gotten information and materials from HA as a student through this method. As an elementary student, I have gotten some materials from HA to use for a science fair project. In High School, I wrote asking to set up interviews with pilots and flight attendants for a career research paper and was contacted to see if I still wanted to set up the interviews.

Actually, that's EXACTLY the kind of thing that using the CEO's email address for would be a good idea. Almost all of them have someone to screen their mail and emails, and that exec assistant is guaranteed to go "Awwww...." and send it to the person in the company who will take care of it. They might even write a little one-paragraph letter on behalf of the CEO to go with it.

And some of you are castigating a young person for their interest in airline memorabilia on THIS forum? Really? Let me be the first to say....oh never mind. You're obviously too self-important for it to do any good anyway. Like something we would say about operations would be more important than a curious young person.

Go the OP -- you go! And I hope you turn your interest in aviation into something that you enjoy the rest of your life.

My advice would simply be to go to Hawaiian's web site and find on the contact page the place where you can send a message to customer relations. Better yet, I'll give it to you:

http://hawaiianair.custhelp.com/app/ask

I flew Hawaiian in December and had a very pleasant travel experience I wanted to share with customer relations. I used the feedback page (the web address to which I have posted above) and within a few days received back a very nice personalized message from someone in customer relations. For an airline such as Hawaiian which specializes in leisure travel and attempts to convey Hawaii's "aloha spirit," customer relations is an important part of building the brand.

Honestly, contacting customer relations would be much more in Hawaiian's "aloha spirit" than bothering the airline's president who has much more time-sensitive issues to deal with.

Go to the top, I say. I just had a problem renewing my Australian passport. I have an odd birthplace which isn't on the accepted list so the website blocked me from applying online - and you have to apply on the web. If you call you just get a recorded message directing you to the website.

So I sent an email to the Minister for Immigration in Canberra and - lo - within forty eight hours, some underling rang me and fixed the problem.

I don't have an issue with what the OP is doing.

I wouldn't recommend contacting Mr. Anderson to just ask if you can get a DC-9 safety card. In my view, it looks unprofessional. Contact the Delta Flight Museum in Atlanta to see if you can get a DC-9 safety card.
