What Camera Is Best For...

...taking pics of planes landing or taking-off. Or just any pics of planes. What camera is good for that? What lens? Thanks very much in advance for your help!

It doesn't work that way, you don't use a camera for planes, one for cars, one for boats, one for persons, one for landscapes, one for close ups, one for flowers, etc. etc.

You buy a 35mm AF camera able to be manual also and start to learn and develop your techniques. If you don't need that much zoom a 35-70mm lens is enough but if you want to look closer (and to shoot planes away from you) it's better to buy a more powerful lens such as a 70-210mm or 100-300mm.

A 75-210 or 100-300 are both great lenses for aircraft shots....landings, takeoffs or whatever.
