Dissapearing Photos

Thu Apr 05, 2001 11:21 pm

I was just wondering... are photos slowly but routinely removed from airliners.net? I've been looking for certain pics, such as two photos of a view of the approach into Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and a really fantastic (And popular, as far as numbers of hits goes) air-to-air shot of a Tradewinds L-1011 turning to final to Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. And they seem to have been removed... I've searched a thousand ways, and a thousand times.

Anyways... just curious.

Is that Lawrence Feir's L1011 you're talking about?

Lawrence Feir: That's the photographer who quit / got thrown out when some of his pictures turned out to be composites, right?
(I believe the argument centred mainly on an in-flight picture of a Dornier 328)
