Also, what planes have you piloted ?

I thought you'd never ask!  Wink/being sarcastic
I had a Commercial Pilot License, Instrument, Multi Engine. I have been very lucky regarding planes I have had a chanse beeing at the controlls for a while;
DC-6
DC-3
Saab 340
Do228
ATR42
MD-80
737-300
737-800
And, yes, it was great!

Also, I fly the photo plane when we do air-to-air shoots.
My brother Tommy gets to do the shooting. Lucky bastard, huh?  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Nothing like Jan  Sad

Just a lowly UK and UK Private (PPL) plus UK IMC and Night, with 250 odd hours. Usually fly a PA-28 Warrior/Archer or a C172R.

Now, Jan if you tell me that you get paid to do these air to air shoots, I will really hate you! I am jealous.

 Big thumbs up
Indeed yes. Very lucky. Sometimes it even makes up for the fact that I never finished my PPL.
Sitting with a DC-6 right outside the window, with those props turning, feels pretty good too....

Not officially  Wink/being sarcastic

But have time in a T6 Texan/Harvard, TF-51 Mustang and an innocent C172

In the upload queue is a pic of me on my first Mircrolight lesson taken last weekend  Smile/happy/getting dizzy Recommended to every one to try!

I do take some pictures but now I got my scan dual II.  Smile

I'm getting my private pilot ticket this month and I usually fly the Cessna 152. I'm gonna also be flying the Piper Cub J-3 and the Piper Aztec this summer and log some multi-engine time at no cost with a DPE and is an MEI.

Hi

I hold my private pilots license, and I'm working on my commercial this summer. It's a very costly affair, unfortunately. I only fly the C-150 and 172.

Rob

I have my private, high-performance/complex, instrument, commercial, and CFI ratings. I was working on getting my M.E., but the cost of renting a Seneca or Twin Comanche + the rediculous fuel prices have stopped me for the time being.

One of my life goals is to buy or rebuild a vintage warbird like an F-4U or P-51, but I think I should probably keep working on paying off my house before taking on that venture!  Smile

Richard,
Normally I have to pay for the flying and do it just because of the tremendous kick!
Sometimes though, I actually do get paid to do it, and there is just no way to describe the adrenalin rush and satisfaction when you roar thru the air next to a beauty, look thru the viewfinder and see this:

Spectacular shot Jan! My question is how did you get that shot? What did you use for a "chase" plane and how did you get that spectacular head on angle?

It was shot from the open rear cargo ramp of an HS780 Andover. The Caravelle is behind us.
