Wunala Dreaming Returning To Singapore On Sunday

Sat Jul 21, 2001 12:31 am

I should be right about this:

Just to let you guys know, Wunala Dreaming [should be correct) since it is very dark outside in Singapore at night but I manage to see the Completely Red Fusage near the light splash area when it rotate from Rwy20R.I saw it from my window as it rotates. ] is operating a flight as QF17 to Paris CDG from Changi which means it will return to Changi on the 22July at 1805(scheduled time).

Guys in CDG, you may want to check out. I don't think I mistaken it because according to the timing from Qantas , the departure time for QF17 is the nearest to what I see.

Anyway VH-OJB will return to Singapore on Sunday

Hi Andrew

Yup you're correct it left at QF9. Did you see the KLM Asia too last night? 9V-SVA was delivered this morning as Singapore 77. 9V-SVB will follow next Saturday morning.

You mean the first SIA's 777-200ER came today morning from Seattle as SQ77? WOW. I think I should head down to the airport next Saturday to catch 9V-SVB. Excited about it. Right now, still thinking whether to go to the airport to catch VH-OJB. Never have enough of it.  Smile

I didn't see KLM Asia yesterday but I have seen it before so not much of a miss.Nothing much to me, just different name and tail. But I would seriously like to see SVA/B. Anyway you guys know where is 9V-SJA now. Saw it with a complete Blue tail with the Singapore Airlines Wordings removed. Has it been delivered to CPA yet?

Andrewtang,

I saw B-HXM i think about 1-2 months ago painted in basic SQ livery without titles, and at present I think it's already delivered to SQ. Not too sure abt its former registration.

KLM Asia is coming again today as stated in the Schipol Airport website.

I heard SQ77 descending to FL230 at about 0740 and just contacting Singapore Radar (134.4) pity I was in camp and couldnt go. Its not parked at the hangar right now, just outside T2. I think the spotters who usually go on Sunday morning would have seen it.

VH-OJB comes here too often already. No doubt I would love to see it, but you never know whether it returns to SYD as QF1 thru BKK.

How do you manage to hear the Radar Contact? You work in the Air Force? The camp site next to Changi Airport? Can you advise me how to do it? Also I am looking forward to see B-HOX in Singapore. Wonder if it will come again late this year in the peak period.  Smile

Anyway, I just want to see 9V-SVA now. Cant wait :lol

Hi Andrew

Sorry to disappoint you, but Wunala Dreaming had a no-show today. I think it should be via BKK as QF 1.

9V-SVA was simply beautiful in the poor evening light. KLM Asia was also nice. 9V-SPL also made a show as SQ30 to TPE and LAX.

Take care

You are right. I went down but didn't see it.Too bad VH-OJK came in as QF10 kicking OJB to BKK. arrrgghghhh. I didn;t see SVA today. I only see 9V-SPO (should be O) I was far far away. Don;t looks like D to me. Anyway I saw 9V-SPL last Sunday in Changi too, 9V-SMU was also there last Sunday.

Now i am looking forward to see VH-NLH. It has been a few months since I never see it in Singapore.

Sure. as for plane spotting , I see when I have the time okay  Smile
