Newark Spotting

hi i was recently on the way home from maryland and while getting on the new jersey turnpike a continental airlines 757 flew right not 500 feet above does any one know what runway it is? also at newark i saw a united 757 cross over highway 195 any one know that runway?

If the UAL 757 (and the COA 757) flew over I-95 on short finals then they were landing on rwy 29.
