Spotting At CDG.

Fri Aug 31, 2001 3:37 pm

Hi.

I'm going on a holiday in the US, and I'll have about 3-4 hours in transit at CDG. Maybe somebody will tell me where the best spot locations are?

I'll be flying CPH-CDG-MIA. JFK-CDG-CPH home.

Thanks!!

check out this URL for good spotting places

The 'meteo' is a good spot but i don't know if you can get there from the terminal.

It depends on the time when you have to the best spot for that time of the day.
Check

http://www.spotter.de.vu

for the photopositions. I have described there which are the best spots for CDG, but you have not that much time... All points could be reached by foot.

Hi.

Thanks a lot Mathias & eBos!

I'll make a print of the picture, so I have an overview of the airport.
There is only one problem: My girlfriend is going too, and she's not so "hooked" on airplanes and stuff, as I am. Smile Smile We will also be carying out handluggage.

I have one last question: Where is the best spot to watch a Corcorde? We will be there around 11.00-15.00.

Regards,

Kenneth

the Concordes are not flying at the moment...they are parked in the maintenance area of Air France and you can't see them and it is too far away from the terminal. I don't know the departure times of Air France Concordes before the crash, but I saw it always being under tow...
