Photography At YLW

I'll likely be going down to Kelowna this coming weekend and I was wondering if anyone knows any good locations that dont require more then 150mm to fill the frame with a 737 or F28.

If anyone has any info, please share it.

If anyone is interested, I drove down there today and to my suprise the airport has some great shooting locations at either end of the runway, its suprising no one there has taken an intrest in aviation photography. I also met this guy from Austria who had an airband scanner with him and a digital cam. I was most impressed with the terminal though, I never imagined it to be so new and large. Too bad im stuck in Kamloops(2 hours away) for the time being.

Anyway I got some pretty good shots of westjet and CRA F28 a/c that I will try to upload in the future.

Search for Kelowna YLW in the database.

I was also there last month and its quite an airport. This is one of the few airports that actually have its own sprinkler system.. No wonder the grasses are green,.
Just hang around the terminal or the end of the runway and youll manage some shots. I dont think its hard to access these areas..
