Why Were The Pictures Rejected?

Thu Sep 27, 2001 2:00 am

Yep, a good oldfashioned question. And I'm not looking to complain, i'm looking for advice. So, any help?

The last 2 I thought would be accepted for sure.

Any advice will be helpful.

No 1.)
Cant see a diefference between the plane and the sky. Could also be my monitor.
2.)
A little bit grainy
3.)
Thec cockpit isn't sharp and or the outside is may be a little overexposed
4.)

What reason did you get for having them rejected?

My guesses would be (of course it would help if we had guidelines  Big grin )

1. Dunno. Maybe someone has a thing against head on shots - could be any Saab, anytime, anywhere.

2. Looks a little soft / unsharp

3. Flight deck details unsharp / out of focus, and outside over exposed

4. Dunno. Maybe airplane too small / too much unused space?

5. Incomplete airplane and no clear motive for pciture, unless it was of the control tower in which case closer cropping of the tower might have been in order.

Of the pics, I like the DanTrans ATR best, but who am I to judge!

Seeing as the UK isn't in the Euro or Dollar zones, I'll have to say that this is just my two penneth worth.

Hmmm, I see. I don't remember the reasons, as the confirmation mail got deleted. But I can see the reasons. Still, I don't have a clue how to make the pics sharper with the edges getting "choppy"

Any help?

The fourth one has the best chance. Crop a little off the ends, sharpen it a little bit, and you might be good to go. It's a nice shot, just needed to be more full frame.

Hehe Lindy, that thought has crossed my mind. But why should they hold a grudge on the Norwegians, they beat us....oh great, I could just sit on a grenade. Do'h. Big grin

I'll try the cropping procedure Dazed, thanks for the advice.

And that goes for all of you.
