Some Oldies (cargo Birds)

Fri Oct 05, 2001 10:09 am

i'm in the process of scanning and uploading some pics from august when a bunch of old cargo birds came in all in the space of about 30 minutes. I was lucky enough to catch them and i was just uploading some pics and talking with a couple of my friends about them...so i'd like to hear your reactions

this one i tried to get a little 'artsy' on...maybe the silos are a bit distracting to you, but i personally think they add to the pic, since the whole point was to emphasize that TRI is surrounded by farmland. i thought it was an interesting and creative shot.

this pretty old bird came in on a very rare visit as well, and gave me some nice approach shots...enjoy
