How Can I Improve This Pic?

Sun Oct 28, 2001 7:32 pm

Hey!

Before uploading this picture, I wonder if anyone has some criticism on it, and how to solve that issue.

Here it is:

Thanks

Thanks!, but i'm not certain i can get it past the screeners, and especially not past Johan....

It's something about the quality, it looks dull to me, how can I make it look a bit more crisp?

That's a great photo, apply the unsharp mask before upload it. I think you have big chances of being accepted.

It wont be accepted unforunately however it is a very good shot.
There is a lot of noise around the underside of the fuselage, ie JPEG compression. Also the pic is a tad soft but a little unsharp mask should cure that no problem.
Fiddle around a bit more with the scanning and after scanning process.
One last thing, crop it a little bit more on the left side, it just makes the pic look more neater Big grin !

Cheers,
Martin

As it is, I don't think it would be accepted, but with some treatment in photoshop, I think it stands chances.

It's a good shot!

Hey,

Thanks to all of you for your advice, i spend some time scanning it, here is the result, I kept jpeg compression at an absolute minimum, so it may take some time to load.

Wietse,

Good shot, not a lot of work to improve it a bit. Look at this :

Nice work, Wietse.
Try rotating the original image 1 degree anti-clockwise and applying the corrections done to DAS.jpg and I think you are on to a winner!
