When Is It Far Enough Or Too Far?

Sat Nov 10, 2001 5:50 am

Hi,

I had this shot rejected because the KLM 743 was too far away (i deleted it and this is a new unedited crappy scan... don't think the other shot was dirty and grainy...):

Obviously, the plane wasn't close to the camera and my zoom sucked... but there are other good shots of far away planes like this:

The park that is at the other end of my street can provide some shots of general aviation planes like cessnas and biz jets, along with the takeoffs of 757/737s... from EWR. Even with a 400mm zoom (using a 2x converter) they won't be big. In the summer, I would see some great views of small black outlines of planes flying thru a red sunset. If I could get the sunset sky and the planes outline, do you think they would get on? I probably wouldn't get an airline on all of them...

Any replies would be great... I wanna use up those 19 shots on something worthwhile.

Thanks,

Jeremy

Just write:

-img src=http://theimage.com/theimage.JPG=

where - is <
and = is >

The rest should be obvious...
