Spotting In The UK During Easter

Thu Dec 13, 2001 5:35 am

I might come to the UK during Easter and now i'd like to know about the weather in London at that time. I've heard there's a lot of rain  Sad, is it true? Also any links to spotting facilites at Heathrow and Gatwick are greatly appreciated.

Weather is great!  Yeah sure

LHR/LGW have great viewing gallerys/spotting places, i'm sure someone else can dig you up a link (can't be bothered Big grin).

Chris Sheldon has quite a comprehensive guide on his website (what is it, www.fly.to/dafwog ?)

It is almost certain that weather in England at Easter will be fine, unless it is raining, generally warm except for the cold periods with a roughly equal chance of snow, hail and/or tornadoes. Earthquakes are, however, unlikely.

Anyone who can accurately predict our spring weather should immediately purchase a national lottery ticket!

But whatever the weather, we're worth a visit.

Cheers,
