What Lens Should I Get?

I have a DYNAX 404 SI , do you know which one of those 2 lenses is better and if they even fit on to my camera ? Thanks very much in advance !

i, Tamron 4.0-5.6/70-300mm LD for Minolta

ii, Minolta AF 75-300/4,5-5,6

The Minolta should be better by a nice margin. Unless Tamron have improved a lot lately they are mediocre at best.
If you can, also take a look at Sigma, especially their EX series.

Hi Patrick. I have the same camera as you and use the Minolta lens. Its not bad for the price but a little soft beyond 200mm, still good enough though.
Almost all my pictures on here are with the Minolta lens mentioned.

I've used the Minolta one, and I agree with Martin that it gets a little soft towards long end, but the results are quite acceptable for a lens that price.

........forgot to add that the lens Vignettes at the long end (270-300mm) @ f5.6. Only noticable on a clear blue sky however.
