Photographing At Chateauroux Airport?

Fri Jun 14, 2002 2:15 am

Yes, I know that I've mentioned Chateauroux in my post about Paris spotting,
but is there someone here that is around this airport on a regular basis?

What about the traffic there?

Which aircraft are stored there? Registrations, if possible!

How to take photographs there?

Please state how RECENT your information is!!

Thanks again

I was there this saturday. As far as I know there is NO traffic, except for training flights and parking aircraft for storage which doesn't happen very often.

Thank you, Jan, then I'll understand why you think it's a waste of time to visit the place!

...were you maybe photographing Goodjet's new A.320 there...?

Harebra!

I heard that it was planned to scrap Corsair's 747-200 F-GLNA at Chateauroux. Anybody knows whether she is already scrapped or still parked there or anywhere else?

Cheers, Tom

When I was there in Sept 01 on my way to Toulouse, I saw a Corsair B741 , a Phillipines A300, 1 Air Inter totally scrapped A300, 1 Air Madagascar B742 and 2 Air Sicilia B732 and a Air France A319 in the little terminal! But I knew Concorde did those pre flight practices there after I left!
