Getting Prints From A Digital Image?

Tue Jul 02, 2002 4:48 am

Can somebody let me know what the best size digital image is to have a print done.

I am looking to have some 6X4 prints but what is the best size of digital image to maximize the quality?

1024X768 or 800X600 or straight from the camera.

Dose it matter?

I look forward to you comments and your experiences.

6x4 prints. 6 inches wide X 400 dpi will be a good starting point.
Equals: a picture 2400 pixels wide, with your printer set at 400dpi.

No problem with a F707v.

Cheers
