Try the Lowepro Nova 1, its about the right size for a digital kit.

Just as long as you keep it between a Lowepro and a Tamerac you should be fine. I have used both, and have liked both brands.
At worst, you screw up and die.

I purchased a Quantaray bag a few years ago for 35 dollars. It is very nice for the the Olympus C-2100UZ that I am using...

I can recommend the Lowepro Nova line. Take a bag a bit larger than you think you need now, you'll want that space soon  Smile/happy/getting dizzy
Cleaning kit, spare batteries, etc. are often forgotten when trying the size of a bag, but do need a place.

I use a Nova 5 myself, but that's oversized for your equipment (it snugly stores my F80 with powerpack, flash, 3 lenses, binoculars, scanner, 20 rolls of film, half a dozen filters, cleaning gear, batteries for everything, monopod, manuals, notebook, pen, and some plastic bags to cover things in an emergency.
It is for me the perfect bag (so far, the search goes on).

Whatever you buy, DO NOT skimp on quality. Don't think a €10 bag is as good as a €100 bag that looks about the same because it isn't. That's expensive gear you put in it, you want the best protection money can buy within your operational requirements.
