First Picture In Data Base

Tue Jul 16, 2002 4:13 am

Hello:
Finally, my first picture was added to the DB today. This picture was taken during a trip to SJO. We made a stop in Cuba, but were not allow to leave the airplane. The cockpit door was left open and I asked the FA if I could take a picture and she said sure .  Smile

Mario,

Excellent photo, and welcome to the club. I also went to Cuba in 2000, but I didnt get any good pics, I have some Tupolev thru a dirty window in a Copa 737-200 at that time.

The Jose Marti airport is not really difficult to take photos, but I was a little scare at that time because its a very different country, and you never know.

I went to La Habana and Varadero and its was really nice.

Also the Main Terminal is pretty awsome its was built by the Canadian goverment.

If you have more photos from SJO please upload them, because there is not a lot of photos of that airport in the database...

Cheers,

Felipe Escalona B.
