But A.Net had just started for a short period and they used almost any picture they could get, also Johan had the time to answer almost all the mails he got.
Times goes on and the site was growing and growing, the first complains where coming in the forum about a special list photographers who have special rights. In fact Johan used this list for the days he hadn’t much time and the stuff in this list was normally good quality.
Complaining goes on, the upload queue was too large. Screeners came in and were knocked down from the very first second they learned something new. Complaining goes on, how can you put more than 1000 pictures on the net in one day!!!! Nobody will see my picture now.
Higher standards was the answer for that problem. Queue grew, whining grew.
More screeners, more complains. Peter Unmuth gives a very good personal advice and he where immediate knocked down.
Sorry, but I’m sure that positive criticism will be highly appreciated by all members of the crew, but please DON’T SHOOT THE MESSANGER.
I think most of the screeners are more happy to smell the fuel and burning rubber in stead of judging your pictures, but someone has to do the job and they are there for you.
