Fuji FinePix 2800Zoom

Tue Aug 13, 2002 8:56 am

Here some serious questions from an enthusiast but absolute beginner in aviation photography... not in spotting, by the way  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Which are the best settings for my Fuji FinePix 2800Zoom for aircraft pics? (6 x optical zoom plus digital, but I don´t use the digital zoom)

In which way should the pics be processed not to make them look artificial but to get the best upload results?

I got two really interesting aircraft las week, quiet fine pics (...from the beginners angle) in liveries that weren´t on a.net before-and got them rejected. That´s no catastrophy to me-but something must be done!

Has anybody got tips for a non-professional pc-user? I´m going to process the pics with adobe photo de luxe program.

Hi,

Maybe you should post the rejected pics by putting a link,
so the pro's can evaluate them.  Big grin

Cheers,

Daniel

OK, I`ll try tomorrow morning. But I do not want to be understood like "uuuu, why do this bad screeners not like my pics...", you understand? That is not the reason for my initial posting - the only reason is trying to improve my upcoming pics.

I have no idea what´s going on. The file names are correct. Eventuelly somebody can give me some answers to my questions without pics-generally. Which settings should be chosen while taking photos and what kind of processing, downsizing or something, should be done before uploading them?

I used the "maximum quality" settings and "auto" last time-seems to be not OK.
