Welcome Back Mr. Millard

Mon Aug 19, 2002 6:09 am

I guess most of the older members still remember Mr.Millard!
One of the shooters down in hot and steamy Texas.

After his departure from a.net a couple of months ago, he seemed to be back showing us his interesting work from IAH again.

He has a certain style to combine people and aircrafts, very interesting indeed!

Lot's of atmosphere in these shots.

I love Tom's style as well, and cheers to him for not being afraid to include people in his aviation shots! A lot of people shy away from that (myself included), but it's nice to put the human element back into aviation photography.

WOW......  Wow! this was a surprise. Say Vaz would you want to be my agent ?  Wink/being sarcastic I can only pay peanuts but you will have my un-dying appreciation Smile/happy/getting dizzy.

Shawn, Martin, Dimitry, Gabriel and Ghost,

Thanks so much for you kind words and support they are much appreciated.

After a 5 month self imposed exile and several anger management classes  Wink/being sarcastic (you know that artistic temperament thing), I have returned with what I hope is a more even tempered attitude towards rejections. I actually should in part credit Vasco's incessant nagging and via e-mails for my return in addition to the fact that my in box was for the most part void of the compliments, questions as well as the occasional sales that I had grown somewhat used to (especially Katy  Love ). So indeed there were more than a few motivating factors for my return, never mind the fact that I just plain (or should it be plane ?  Wink/being sarcastic ) missed the challenge.

I want to personally thank Johan in particular for uploading the linked image that Vasco posted on this thread which I appealed for it after it's initial rejection.

Again thanks guys,

Thomas

T,

always welcome. Your agent, well if I we split your sales 50/50 I think about it.

Just remember that you have to control your temper at times. Rejections bother me as much as they bother you!
You have a refreshing style of photography. Keep it up.

Seems that IAH is one of the friendliest airport post 9/11.

Love to shoot at IAH again....I am especially proud of this one.

Cool pic Vaz.....I could really use some competition down here, someone to kick me in the a** and break me out of my complacent (lazy) mode that I am in now. I was really upset that I missed out on Joe, Jay, Ben and the other A.Net boyz when they were here in June. They got some killer pics!
