Portuguese Spotting

Thu Aug 22, 2002 12:24 pm

Can some of the Portuguese spotters (or anyone familiar) please help me out with any information regarding spotting at Lisbon and Funchal in September? I'll be flying EWR-LIS-FRA-LIS-EWR and I'm seriously considering spending 1 or 2 days on the way back at either LIS/FNC in September to photograph before I head back home to EWR.

Just wondering how accessible some of these nice spotting locations are and how much zoom I might need at those locations. Also what's the best time of day (optimum sun light) to photograph at these locations. Any information that will be of help to maximize my photographic experience there will be greatly appreciated.
And if any of the local spotters there would like to meet up with me and show me around the spots.... beers are on me!  Big grin Thanks guys...

Lisbon locations I'd like to shoot from.

Vasco, you live in FRA or in the USA? Thought you were in the BOS area?

Well Dimitry,

I actually live in neither one of the places.
Was born in FRA, used to live in BOS and now, I live in the valley of the clueless..........but this is gonna change soon.

BOS is my second home........

Hey V- I'll be in FRA and some of the surrounding airports the week of Sept 15th thru 22nd it looks like right now. We'll definitely have to hook up for a day or two of shooting when I'm in the FRA area.

V- As it looks right now I probably won't be in FRA during any weekend days. I'll be traveling around those days.... I hope I don't disappoint your sweet lovely daughters. But if you allow them to join me I promise I'll bring them back home before I leave for EWR!  Big grin

I'll email some of you fellas on here with my trip details as the time nears.... would love to hook up with some of youz for beers!
