Hi Ben

Yes, a good idea so I would advise you to get one....only to protect the LCD.

I use a Palm Pilot Screen Protector on my D30. Split my pack with Chris Sheldon and Jason Taperell !

View is slightly.........not sure how to say......distorted........not as clear as the LCD itself but im happy with it to only protect the LCD. I also added one to the display on the top of the camera.

Ben, go for one and don't ever think 'I won't get a scratch on my LCD'

Cheers

Gary

 Big thumbs up

Oh, this is a must-buy for Joe and his D60!

"Also features a very useful alignment grid to help ensure that camera is kept level for when shooting using the LCD screen as a monitor/viewfinder - very clever, no more wonky horizons !"

...sorry, I couldn't resist!  Innocent

Gary,

I think you are using screen protectors for greyscale-palms if you buy protectors for color-palms (or any other color-PDA), then you won't have that problem with distorted view.

Hi Janne

The one I have IS for a Colour Palm III.

This had been talked about on the DPReview website.

Well if those are the ones that are imported from Japan, I wanna try them, beucase I don't like the hoods, they prevent me from using my sivel cam as a sivel cam.
At worst, you screw up and die.

Ben,

They are well worth it, I used one of Gary's left overs on my S1 makes the image look slightly strange but no scratches on the LCD.

The S2 comes with a cover.

Cheers
