How Do I Improve My Pics?

Wed Sep 04, 2002 11:55 pm

Hi,

My pics always turn out like this one:

"soft" and blurry.

Can anyone give me a hand-held guide and tips to getting these types of pictures to a.net quality?

Thanks,

Steve.

I second Tony's question. Camera, settings etc?

Also the weather doesnt really make the shot either - shoot on sunny days only if at all possible.

Looks like a middle of the road digi cam? / also, have you dont much editing?

I'm using a Canon Powershot A20 digital camera.

I applied Auto Contrast and Unsharp Mask at 0.2 Radius to the shot.

This is Central England btw... we don't get sunny days here :P

Thanks,
Steve.

this was taken from a similar place on a dull cloudy day !

i had a lot of trouble initially with "dull day" photos , its just trial and error with the settings on the camera !

you should be getting a lot sharper & clearer images than that one

have a play with the settings outside at home on a grey day then have a mess with your image software ! practice 'n' play that way youll get it

cheers Tony
