How Many Pics Of The Same Aircraft?

Tue Sep 10, 2002 1:15 am

Out of curiosity I am wondering how many pics of the same aircraft (different views) taken the same day by the same photographer is proper on an upload to Airliners.net.

I did once upload two different (angle and position different) pictures of the same aircraft (same quality) but only one was accepted, the other one was rejected but not for bad quality but for something like already in the database.

IF you upload two [or more shots] from approximately the same angle [like a motor-drive sequence of an approach] then we'll generally only take the best of your uploads. If the angles are significantly different then we might take a couple of shots.

Of course, if you take one approach shot and then shoot it on the ground later then we'd probably take both of them.

Not the same photographer (mis-read that). I would pick your best shot out of the group, and upload just that one (unless it's something REALLY good...sequence shot of an engine strike at kai-tak or something).
