Large Portable Flash Unit.

Tue Sep 10, 2002 10:54 pm

Hi all..

Does anyone have any info on locating a large portable flash unit. I'm looking for something like a strobe light, which only fires once. Maybe something which can be powered by a car battery or similar.

The flash doesn't have to be syncronised to my camera, but if it has a switch at the end of a long cable, it would be a great advantage. I'm looking for something which will illuminate something at about 25 metres away. I understand that most camera flash units are only good for about 0-5 metres.

If anyone has anything that might be of help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers  Big thumbs up
