Tropical Storm

Thu Sep 26, 2002 12:00 pm

Well, I'm fortunate that Hurricane Isidore first went to Mexico Yucatan Peninsula and weakened to a Tropical Storm. I'm hoping that it'll quickly pass so I can continue getting great aircraft pictures at MSY.

Instead, for the past two days I've been taking pictures of the weather.

We got about 9 inches of rain here in Pensacola. I'd love to go to Sherman airfield and snap some departing F/A-18s and A-10s here, hehe.

I live in Ohio. Went fishing today and it rained all day - caught a few... anyway - it is still raining - and it is supposed to rain all day tomorrow. I hope so - my grass needs rain. This is the longest it has rained in my neck of the woods in a long time. I remember when we used to have all day long soft rain. Nowadays, the sky turns grey or black - like the world is gonna end - and it rains 2 inches, in like ten minutes... flashfloods - chaos...

Andy Jung - I viewed alot of your photos from the link you provided. Nice images - a wide assortment you shared. Thanks !!
