I remember a thread started about a current a.net photographer's daughter (much younger than you) that has a photo or two on here.

Yup probably you, I started when I was 13 but I don't think that changes much Big grin.

Wietse maybe the youngest, I think his first photo was when he was 5  Big thumbs up.

Also expect some a.net photographers to have their son's/daughter's starting out pretty soon (Andy!).

Nice work there Richard !!

In time, as a team, you'll be able to have multiple runways/vantage points covered at a single time for those "must get" or multiple targets, runway switches etc...  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

C72, Yes more photos will be coming from Jessica in the future. We have not done much shooting this summer. In fact, since the first of July, I have only shot 3 rolls of film. Very slow summer!

CONTINENTAL, No that is not me on the left. I was taking the photo. That is my freind Randy who is not photographer, but is just an old fashioned aircraft spotter who logs reg #'s.

CICADAJET, We already work as a team. I get into far more places without hassles when I have the cute little girl with me. No one bothers me.

Richard, just make sure she doesn't drop the camera!

Hell, I don't trust my sister with my camera and she's 13!

Well, I'm 15 and my first shot came when I was 13:

Jessica has her own cameras.......The CHP helicopter was shot with a Canon A10 digital. Sometimes I let her try my Nikons but the lenses are still a little too big for her to handle.

I remember taking beautiful shots with an old casette camera from my grandma. Shots of beautiful coloured bushes and plants. Later it turned out the film was B&W..... I was 2-3 at the time. I have the shots somewhere around, perhaps I'll search them...

And for what it is worth, I started when I was 10. Here is a shot that I took when I was 11 with my Argus 75 box camera with fixed focal length lens and shot on 620 Film.

Started when I was 9, and already had ramp-access then Smile
Got some pics on the other site taken back in '92 in AMS and HKG.
All on print material and with a manual Practika.
Fortunately my quality-standard and equipment grew with me.

When I was 14 not even the US military had the internet !

In fact, I was using my dad's old Voigtlander which I lost the following year at East Midlands after taking pictures of some exotic Viscounts (you know, VR-B, HK- and so on).
I got so excited I just left it in on a wall at a place I shouldn't have officially been!

Not that it really matters, but I'm 14 (started uploading at 13) and have 57 photos in the database from scanning prints on a cheapazz Memorex 6142u flatbed (cost me only $20 after a $50 rebate  Smile/happy/getting dizzy). Its as hard as heck I'll admit and at times I wish I had a digital like a C-700. I've spent hundreds on film and developing so far that could have went to something nice like an F-707...bah... I'm planning on saving up some cash for a Minolta Dual Scan II but its hard when you want to take flying lessons as well.
