Newbie Question

Mon Oct 07, 2002 4:50 pm

I am new to this forum and to photography, so I appreciate help.

I got a camera, scanner, even pics, but have no clue what kind of photo editor to use, how much is it or where to get it?

regards

Hi

Well start off with the photo software you got with the scanner, try a few pics and see how you get on.

You could always download PS7 off of Kazaa for free...

What? I didn't say anything...  Smile

You probably got something like Photoshop LE with your scanner. It is powerful enough to do everything you need to do to edit your photos.

If you want to buy something Photoshop Elements is a nice program that will do everything you need it to do. (Less than $100.00)

I believe Amazon.com is (was?) having a sale on PS Elements; $30 after rebates and free shipping. You should check it out, and yes PS Elements is a very good program, still very powerful but more user-friendly than the full versions of Photoshop.
