Allow me to answer my own question: No.
I got to Everett at about 2pm. Went to the Factory Tour office to ask them if the public was invited. They said no but actually gave me some tips on where to go to see the plane come out of the final assembly building.
I found a good vantage point from across the highway. The only problem was the weather (and light) was terrible. I bought Provia 400F to compensate for the poor light. Once I got there I realized that I was going to have to shoot through my 75-260mm lens. I was just too far away. Knowing that, I decided to shoot metered at 800 and I would just push the processing +2.
Seems the big guy was on my side this day as when the big doors opened up... the sun came out. No kidding. It was gray and downright gloomy for the whole hour I waited. But the sun indeed came out and cast a nice gold hue on the white fuseage. All in all, I think they came out well despite the grain and slightly bumped up contrast due to the push processing.
Royal, are you visible in any of these?
It's a gorgeous airplane in person... that's all I 'll say.
