RE: Why Some Of Them Was Rejected? Help

Those last few shots taken in Alaska are great. I am sure they gave reasons for each rejection. No armchair screening from me though. See what the others say.

I'll try some armchair screening  Smile/happy/getting dizzy / constructive critique....

Fine except for some small window reflections visible at the top of the airbridge and the baggage loader...

Blurry/unsharp - reg and titles

Badmotiv I would guess and unsharp

Some strange things here! Blurry/unsharp, grainy and some artefacts around the trees and underside of the fuselage.

Very blurry/unsharp - just out of focus?

Unsharp - titles blurred and a bit grainy

Seems ok - unlevel though - check the lightpoles leaning left

Unlevel with the horizon and BA 737 which drop away to the right, otherwise I like the shot!

Composition. The van and airbridge don't help this shot with the Gemini and SAT obscured in the background

Very nice! Touch of overexposure seems to have blown out the highlights on the fuselage - lack of detail in the white areas.

Nice shot! But a bit soft and unlevel - poles lean slightly to the left

Tired now so I'll stop there  Laugh out loud

Hope that helps,

Yes those two are great shots! The slightly soft China might be salvaged by using some more adaptive USM, or a higher strength USM in Photoshop on the original file; but if the problem with the SQ is the overexposure on the fuselage then I don't think there is much you can do to restore the detail lost..

Good luck

Nice pictures. But some of them are not up to standards I think. Have you looked at your own appeal page? For each picture it gives you the reason why it was rejected. So, if you're aware of those reasons, you might be able to improve them.

However some pictures:

- have too much noise (stairs, trucks,...)
- some of them are blurry/soft
- on some pictures, such as the Jumbo landing, the white is 'too white', you know what I mean?
- not level.

It's also possible that some of them were rejected because of 'badcommon'.

Just try to improve your technique a little bit. You already have the talent!
