while researching a reg number of an old slide I just uploaded, United 1819U, I came across this:

Its either:

a)Copyright fraud on behalf of Ryan Hales

or

b)they were standing side-by-side when the photo was taken.

Both Dave and Ryan are friends of mine and them shooting side by side is 100% plausible, have no fear.

ah! right on. I would just hate to see someone claiming someone else's work.

Look at the lightbeacons at the bottom of the page, they dont match up. But I must agree that it looked familiar!

I'd say they were standing side by side, its not the same photo.

Look at the taxiway edge lights, on the Ray Hales one there are two, one underneath the front undercarriage and the other below the back of the aircraft. Now look at the a.net Dave Campbell version and there is only one in line with the start of the wing.

Perfect evidence that they were taken while standing next tio each other.
