Is This A Bad Photo?

Thu Nov 28, 2002 2:16 pm

I haven't bothered sending it here b/c it is a scan from my prints. I make great prints but don't know how to get the best scans and digi editing Otherwise, when BigPhilNYC and I saw this, I thought it was a decent print.

please let me know your thoughts.

Mirrodie,

It doesn't do too much for me....The lighting is difficult and as a result the image quality will be difficult to get high scanning from the print even if the detail is there currently on the print; the composition would IMO be better if it could be cropped more to the main subjects with less 'wasted' space.

I'd stick to clear, sunny conditions, not shoot toward the sun at all to have a chance of getting scanned prints accepted.

Regards
Paul
