$1.600 EOS D60, Too Good To Be True?

Mon Dec 02, 2002 6:30 pm

Hi there!

A&M Photo world claims that sell the Canon Eos D60 for the low price of $1600 , anybody ever bought anything from them? What is the catch? What does it imply that it is a Non-U.S. Distributor?? TNX

Indeed, run don't walk away from this retailer. Accidentally's posted link says it all. That old saying "If it's sounds to good to be true, it probably is" is very apt here. Personally before plopping down some serious bucks at a retailer that I am not familiar with, I check them out backwards and forward. Sites like 'Resellerratings' definitely serve an important function.

Whoop,

Try these sites: http://www.ny-camera.com or http://www.technikdirekt.de. The good thing about these shops, that they are in Germany which means in the EU.

Good price, but I'd run from them.

It's a good price because you don't get any accessories! On the side they have "recommended accessories" because more than likely it does not come with it and you have to buy their over priced accessories. I mean a 512mb compact flash card for $600? I thought 1GB cards ran just under $300USD?? Keep looking my friend.

Hello.

1GB Microdrive for 267,- EURO. That's cheap.
