Wth? Not A Great Shot For A 1984 Pic?

Fri Dec 13, 2002 4:08 am

Hi

Howard Chaloner, the photographer of this picture seems to have a complex about quality. I was just speechless when I saw this great 19 yr old picture and suddenly when I read the caption I couldn't believe my eyes when he stated "Not a great shot  Confused, but you can see the aircraft partially submerged in the canal at the end of 04R the day after its runway overrun".
For me, this picture as well as the author too, deserve my congratulations.
One of the most sharper picture I've seen in a while despite its oldness.  Big thumbs up

Hmmm, I'd say that that was not the best place to park that DC10, regular gates and parkingstands makes it hard for spotters/photographers, running into a canal does not really make it easier for us  Big grin

Cool pic though  Big thumbs up

I remember that incident, but never saw it from that angle. I like the pic.  Smile
