Denver Spotters...Lets Go To Disneyland!

Sat Jan 04, 2003 3:41 pm

Hey Denver Spotters,

Well right now the aircraft rotation puts N784AS into Denver Sunday night/ Monday morning. Now with XLCD flights and Ireg Ops, a lot could happen. Just a heads up though, perhaps you can get some shots in the DB from Denver. Hope the rotation stays as is.

Flight 82 inbound Jan 5...Arv at 2136
Flight 97 outbound Jan 6...Dep at 0700

Hmm, I have school monday morning. Damn. Jeff I bet it departs from 25 or 34. Maybe you could get a shot of it taxing up close at the firehouse or on takeoff?

Thanks for the info Ryan.

Later.

Hey that is good news Ryan! I don't know Aaron, it's not even light yet at 7am. No promises, but I might take a look Monday morning.

Aaron, did you make it over to rw 08? By the time I got to 25, they were just taking off, no more were landing! I did hear them vectoring a few to 25 on the scanner before I got there though.

Thanks again for the tip Ryan

Jeff, Aaron here.

I definately made it to runway 8. Thanks again for the tip on how to get there. Runway 8 was great. I stayed for about an hour. Got some shots. Landing slowed down a bit before I got there. I felt like a sitting duck there though for security or Den PD patrolling the airport. I like that little hill you can pull up on. I didn't drive up on it though because it was so windy. But I did stand on top of it.

Was neat to hear that they were landing on runway 25. I saw the lineup as I got off of Pena to Jackson Gap Road to go to 35L where the VOR was. Awesome lineup.

I saw your shots uploaded already. That was sure quick. I think its a D100 thing right? Hehe  Big grin

I also have some of my shots from runway 8 in the queue right now. How long it will take before they get looked at, who knows.

Talk to you soon
