Resolution For Vertical Photos

Tue Jan 14, 2003 12:36 am

Hello all,
according to the upload page photos must at least have a resolution of 1024x768. What is the criteria for vertical photos? Is it safe to assume that it's 768x1024?

I have kept my vertical shots to a maximum resolution of 768 pixels (vertical) so that the entire image may be viewed on most normal monitors.

If it is impossible to view the whole image at once without panning, then I feel that some of the impact is lost.

Granted you can always open a lower resolution version if you have a real low resolution monitor.
