Need Some Quick Help In PS - Cloning.

Wed Jan 22, 2003 4:55 pm

Hello guys!

As I opened up PS 6 for some reason the cloning circle is huge, how do I make that smaller?
Thanks for the tips in advance!

I use PSP 7 and you have to go to the toolbar on top and select the toolbox window. That is where you adjust the shape and size of the clone tool. Hope that helps!

Thanks Steve!
Another question, for some reason I can't rotate image CW or CCW in half degrees or .1, .2, .3 etc, just in 1.0 rotation or more, how do I change that.

That's strange, Dmitry. It should work with .1, etc.

You can use Jan's method to rotate in small degrees: http://www.airliners.net/discussions/aviation_photography/read.main/76567/

Also, have you tried the healing brush tool? It's just like clone, but it works so much better!

Shawn, I will take a look at Jan's method. Please explain the healing brush, never heard of it.

Thanks!

Dmitry,

In PS6 there is no healing tool. Too bad because it is sort of a "smart" clone tool. It has been implemented in PS7.

Healing tool is much better than cloning tool, but sometimes on a pic, if you want to erase the titles on the aircraft (i did this just for fun), the windows get smudged too.. Dont forget the Patch tool too  Big grin
