A 'Discovery Wings' Heads-up!

Thu Feb 06, 2003 6:01 am

I don't know whether it's been on before, if it has I apologise, but tonight at 11.00 GMT on Discovery Wings, there is a program called 'G-suits and Motordrives' which is looking at 5 aviation photographers and their work.
Just caught the last few minutes of the 8.00 showing and it looked pretty good.
Sorry for the short notice!!

Just saw it ... not often they manage to put together a show I just have to watch. So now I'm totally dissatisfied with my career  Sad

Cheers,

I have trying for months in vain to get my local cable provider to sign up for this channel.

Any familiar names ? I am guessing they may have profiled Clay Lacy, Lawerence Feir. In any case I sure these shooters put all of our work and massive egos to shame.

I got your tin cans, right here pal........! Laugh out loud

There are several cable providers here however the bozos at Northland (a Seattle based company, btw) are, well.....ass backwards, I am still trying to get the Travel Channel. Seems odd that I have Disc and most of the others but I can not get Travel or Wings!

Hell if this continues, I might just have to move back to Houston itself to get a decent cable provider. Nuts

BTW I can't find any mention of this program in the wings guide....Is it part of another series?

Saw one of these before and it profiled a Japanese chap who was doing air to air work for SAAB and others. I'd love to know how he perfected his timing to get some of the shots he does.

Got to be the No1 way to mix business with pleasure in aviation photography
